Lead Roof Repair Technician

Job Description and Responsibilities:

We have immediate openings for a Lead Service Repair Technician. At least 5yrs roofing experience and valid driver’s license required. Excellent pay and benefits set forth per Union contract ($25 - $35 per hour depending on experience).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Job Duties:

• Responsible for locating leaks and performing repairs and maintenance on all roof systems including (but not limited to) cold applied BUR, torch applied Modified Bitumen, EPDM, Heat Welded TPO/PVC Membranes, Coatings, and slope (shingles). Knowledge of these systems is necessary.
• Ability to perform assigned work orders in a safe and timely manner with strong attention to detail following all OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to work well with others and be team oriented.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers and fellow employees.
• Responsible for operation and maintenance of all company issued equipment (such as vehicles, power tools, phones, hand tools, etc). Must keep a clean, stocked truck.
• Basic Computer and Smart phone skills required.
• Must complete your work orders on the phone or Tablet app, enter labor, material, and detailed description of leak deficiencies and repairs, take before, during and after pictures, and close out procedures.
• Possess good judgement and decision-making skills.
• Be reliable and have consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Responsible for maintaining constant communication with the Superintendent or Service Manager throughout the day.
• Report, in detail, all safety related injuries/accidents day of the incident to your immediate supervisor.
• Valid drivers’ license.
• Successful background check, pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Must not be afraid of heights.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
